A Very Busy Summer (and Fall!) for Silver Spring Regional Area

...................................
This summer and fall promises to be a very busy time for the Silver Spring Regional Area and vicinity.  There’s so much going on! While it is impossible to capture it all, here's a "starting list" of what we now know.  (So, as you plan your "staycation", that next business gathering, family get-together, faith celebration, or just want to lay out your "fun" calendar, we hope you find this list useful.)

Much more info on these (and many others!) will become available as we get closer to the dates... But, we thought that for now having this handy-dandy list of 'save-the-dates' would help. (If you know of others, please e-mail me. We will include them in future e-blasts and help disseminate the information.)

{By the way, if you want instant info on any of these just "google" them!}

These are great, and as a nearly 20 year resident of Silver Spring, I look forward to many of them. But one thing is still missing - years after we were told it would come back - and that is First Night Montgomery, the wonderful New Year's Eve celebration that moved during the downtown construction and has never come back. Now that the major construction is done, it would be an ideal time to bring back this event. Is anyone working on this? Thanks.
